A Dade County deputy arrested a man with more than a dozen active warrants on January 12.

According to the Dade County Sheriff's Office, the deputy saw Nicolas Foster's vehicle driving on Highway 299 around 4:00 p.m.

Knowing that the driver had outstanding warrants, the deputy pulled Foster over and confirmed with dispatch that he had 13 active warrants within Hamilton County, Tennessee.

The sheriff's office says one of Foster's warrants was for felony aggravated assault, while the others were theft-related. 

Deputies were able to locate the whereabouts of a stolen vehicle in Tennessee after a brief investigation.

Foster was taken to the Dade County Jail and later transferred back to Hamilton County.
