5 Juveniles lead police on high speed, cross-county chase Monday
An early morning police chase Monday morning that started in Hamilton County ended with a crash in Bradley County.
About 1:57am Monday, a Hamilton County Sheriff's Office deputy came across a vehicle at the Tiger Market convince store on Jenkins Road that matched the description of a suspect's vehicle involved in several attempted vehicle burglaries in the area.
As the deputy pulled into the parking lot of the Tiger Market, the vehicle fled the area at a high rate of speed, according to HCSO spokesman Matt Lea.
The deputy then pursued the vehicle on Jenkins Road and eventually onto I-75 Northbound. The vehicle then headed into Bradley County where it crashed into two guardrails while trying to make the first Bradley County exit at a high rate of speed.
Five juveniles in the car will be charged, according to Lee, who didn't share what those charges might be.
