UPDATE: One person dies following double shooting in Chattanooga
UPDATE: The Chattanooga Police Department has released the name of one of the victim killed in a double shooting on Monday night.
CPD says they found a male victim in the 2000 block of Market Street.
He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His name and condition have not been released.
CPD later learned of a second victim, 37-year-old Derrick L. Lewis, who drove himself to a hospital. Police say Lewis later died from his injuries.
Investigators say they found a possible incident location in the 4400 block of Fagan Street.

PREVIOUS STORY: Chattanooga police say two people were shot on W. 38th Street Monday night.
The shooting happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 100 block near Central Avenue.
CPD spokesperson Trevor Tomas says one of the victims was taken to a hospital by ambulance and the other drove his or herself.
The victims’ conditions have not been released.
CPD’s violent crimes investigators are responding to the incident.
Tomas says more information will be released when it becomes available.
