A vehicle fire has shut down a portion of I-75 North on Friday night.

According to TDOT, a vehicle caught fire near mile marker 3 between the I-75/I-24 split and East Brainerd Road exit just before 10:00 p.m.

TDOT cameras show that all lanes of I-75 North are blocked in the area as fire crews respond to the scene.

Injuries and the cause of the fire are unknown at this time.

TDOT expects to have the road cleared shortly before midnight.
