TDOT starts new traffic pattern on U.S 27 ramp from west MLK Blvd. Monday
As construction continues to widen U.S. 27 downtown Chattanooga, TDOT will soon implement a new traffic pattern.
The ramp from West MLK Boulevard to go south on U.S. 27 will be closed. Instead of turning right, drivers will now have to turn left onto a new ramp to access US-27 South.
TDOT says new signals will be in place to allow traffic from West MLK Boulevard to access the new ramp, which will be ready just in time for Monday's rush hour.
TDOT says the work is weather dependent and hasn't provided a timetable on when the project will be complete.
