UPDATE: McCallie lineman Jay Hardy announced his decision Wednesday morning and verbally committed to Auburn. He said he was leaning towards Tennessee heading into his visit at Auburn this past weekend, but after leaving the Plains he knew Auburn was the right fit.

"I knew where I was going Saturday morning when I went through the walk-throughs at Auburn," Hardy said. When asked what ultimately led to his decision to become a Tiger he said, "Probably the relationship I had with the coaches. The relationship I have with the players now. It just felt like home when I was down there this past weekend."

Hardy will not early enroll at Auburn and will officially sign his letter of intent on National Signing Day in February.
