Guardrail runs through length of SUV in Sequatchie County, driver's injuries 'not that bad'
Several agencies in Sequatchie County responded to a car accident on East Valley Road on Saturday morning.
The Dunlap Fire Department says they were dispatched to assist the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Department with the removal of a guardrail that impaled a vehicle.
Dunlap FD says injuries "were not that bad," but if the rail had moved a few more inches towards the driver, this accident could have been tragic.
Dunlap FD says they cut the guardrail so the vehicle can be towed.
This is a developing story.
