Ground broken for 2020 St. Jude Dream Home
Work began Wednesday for the 2020 St. Jude Dream Home, as volunteers assembled to hold the traditional groundbreaking.
The 2020 St. Jude Dream Home will be in Turnberry Farms in Hixson, and will again be built by G.T. Issa Premier Homes.
Other companies participating the build are WRCB-tv Channel 3, US101, Chattanooga Times Free Press, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Ashley HomeStore, Geoff Ramsey Re/Max Properties and national sponsors Brizo, Shaw Floors, Trane, and Bosch.
The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is one of the largest single-event fundraisers for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and has raised more than $400 million.
All funds raised through the program will help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Tickets are scheduled to go on sale in March. The St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway will be aired live on Channel 3 and will be streamed on the station's digital and social platforms.
