Getting us all ready for Halloween, Pam Wattenbarger with Simply Southern Mom stopped by the Channel 3 studio to show us how to make some spooky treats! 

These recipes are quick and easy. You can even have the kids join in on the fun! 

Witch Hat Cookies

  • Fudge Covered Cookies
  • Tube of designer frosting gel
  • Candy kisses
  1. Place fudge-covered cookies with fudge facing upwards. Place a small amount of frosting gel onto the center of each cookie. Top with a candy kiss.

Halloween Punch

  • 1 (32 ounce) bottle blood orange soda (or regular orange soda or orange juice)
  • 1 (16 ounce) bottle lemon-lime soda
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 6 gummy candy eyeballs
  1. In a large bowl, mix the orange soda or orange juice with the lemon-lime soda until blended.
  2. Just before serving, pour the orange/lemon-lime mixture into individual glasses. Top with one scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  3. Add a gummy candy eyeball to the center of each drink.  Serve immediately. Makes 6 (8 ounce) servings.
