Some prominent local elected officials and officers found themselves behind bars on Friday.

It was all to help Crime Stoppers keep fighting crime.

The "Jail & Bail Fundraiser" included a dunk tank, kiss a cop booth, CSI activities and much more.

Fifteen elected officials were "arrested" and remained behind bars until they posted bail.

Each inmate's bond was set at $2500.

The event raised $35,000.
