Your 3 Cents: Fall stuff to do in October!
We are keeping it light today. It’s cool outside. Everyone is in a good mood, and it was so amazing how many people were outdoors enjoying all the cool fall stuff to do here in the Tennessee Valley.
Personally, Saturday I got to take some family to Lake WinepaSPOOKah at Lake Winnie. Sunday, my wife and I headed over to the Oktoberfest at the Chattanooga market. There were lederhosen and dirndles everywhere. So I wanted Your 3 Cents on some of the activities you enjoyed this past weekend.
Brittany said they went to Hillcrest Farms.
Traci has the best husband in the world. He took her bass fishin’ on Lake Chickamauga all day Sunday for her birthday!
DeAnna headed over to Prater’s Mill history and gospel singing.
Kathy took the grandkids camping, swimming, did Halloween crafts, and a haunted hayride!
Dawn Marie went to Blessing of the Buffalo this past Saturday. It was wonderful. That’s Greg Vital’s Buffalo farm in Georgetown.
Christina went to the Georgia Apple Festival in Ellijay then had a cookout with family and friends. Cookouts are so much better when it’s not 100 degrees.
Heather went on a wedding anniversary camping trip! It was gorgeous weather for it!
Wendy went to the New Salem Mountain Festival and bought propane! It’s officially fall!
Michelle and the family went to beautiful Helen, GA.
Debbie went to Pumpkin Town in Athens.
Lamar went on up to RocktoberFest at Rock City. It was amazing!
And poor unfortunate DeAnna said, “I do this event thing called work. That’s about the only one I get to do anymore.
Thank you, Eeyore (I mean DeAnna). Seriously, If you weren’t able to get away this past weekend, get the family together and go to some of these amazing events that are only going on through October. If you Google events around Chattanooga you can come up with a plan that lets you hit maybe three or four amazing events this month.
That’s my 3 Cents. If you have a rant or a rave, I want to know about it. Give me a call at 423-643-9722 and give me your 3 Cents.
