Organizers of the annual Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga are under new leadership.

Mickey McCamish tells Channel 3 that he is now the executive director of the festival.

McCamish, who has served as the director of marketing and sponsorship for the festival, began his new role on Wednesday.

He replaces Chip Baker who recently announced his retirement after 20 years on the job.

McCamish says he's looking forward to Riverbend 2020.

McCamish says he and organizers will be evaluating everything when it comes to next year's festival.

McCamish says organizers will make any necessary changes to the festival after the evaluation.

Riverbend 2020 will be held on May 27-30.

Friends of the Festival also plans to partner with "Songbirds Guitar Museum" to help with booking, music production and marketing for Riverbend.
