Armed-robbery suspect arrested after chase involving Bradley County deputies
The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of breaking into a home and robbing a man at gunpoint on Wednesday morning.
It happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. on Keller Lane.
A BCSO press release says the victim arrived at his house to find that someone had broken in.
The release says when the victim found the suspect identified as Michael Anthony Tigue he was robbed at gunpoint.
Deputies arrived at the scene as Tigue was driving away.
Deputies chased Tigue until he crashed on Grove Avenue SW where he ran from the scene to an open apartment nearby at Daybreak Suites on Keith Street.
Deputies took Tigue into custody, charging him with two counts of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, evading arrest, resisting arrest, three counts of aggravated assault and multiple theft charges.
