Two injured in early morning house fire
An early morning house fire kept crews busy Friday.
The call came in around 4 a.m. to a home off South Moore Road in East Ridge.
When crews arrived, they were notified that two people were trapped inside.
Those individuals did make it out but are being treated for smoke inhalation.
The American Red Cross was on scene providing assistance to the residents.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
