Tuesday, October 1 law enforcement in Hamilton and Bradley Counties will celebrate National Night Out with events in the communities. 

Everyone is invited to this annual event that promotes healthy relationships between the police and the community.

In Hamilton County, various locations are hosting events. 

Lupton City is holding its event at Brooks United Memorial Methodist Church between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. There will be foodentertainment, raffles, and In activities.

In Bradley County, law enforcement will hold its event between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at Bradley Square Mall outside of Dunham's Sports.
Bradley County's National Night Out offers family-friendly activities, including balloon animals, finger-printing, inflatables, a MASH tent, car seat checks, personable officers explaining the functions of their specialized equipment, as well as interactive displays from Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and Tennessee High Safety Office.

The night will top off with the annual CPD versus BCSO donut eating contest, with free hotdogs for attendees provided by Cooke's Food Store.
