The Bledsoe County School district has partnered with Schneider Electric for the past ten years to help cut maintenance costs.

Through this partnership, the school was able to avoid pulling from other budgets and rely on their savings from Schneider. Overall, they cut energy costs by 27 percent and saw returns of more than $60,000 each year.

The project was focused on upgrades to the school district’s lighting and automation equipment for five facilities across the district.

Previously, the district had faced challenges with funding for these maintenance projects. The award was presented on September 23, 2019, at a board meeting in the district.
