It was homecoming night at Chattanooga Christian School as they opened play against a 3-0 Boyd Buchanan squad revived under first-year head coach Jeremy Bosken.

The Bucs came out hot in this one going up 7-0, but an Erick Manirakiza field goal cut that lead to four.

Boyd Buchanan would force a CCS turnover deep in Charger territory to set up their next score to take a 14-3 lead.

A Michael Houge touchdown for CCS followed by a pair from each team would leave the halftime score at 21-17 in Boyd Buchanan's favor.

Out of the locker room it looked like a completely different Chargers team on the defensive side of the ball.

Roderick Young, after fumbling in the first half, would give CCS their first lead of the night with a touchdown in the third quarter to make it 24-21.

Young would then pick of an Eli Morris pass deep in CCS territory to stump the Bucs' drive.

Treveon Scott would score a 33-yd touchdown as the Chargers defense shuts out Boyd Buchanan in the second half en route to a 31-21 region win on homecoming night.

CCS will go on the road next Friday to play Christian Academy of Knoxville in another region game. Boyd Buchanan takes on Hixson in a non-conference game.
