Four first responders in Cleveland and Bradley County were given the highest award for bravery and heroism during the annual Cleveland 100 Awards Night on September 18.

The first responders were Cleveland Fire Department Battalion Chief Rock Eulo, Bradley County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Campbell, and Bradley County Fire & Rescue’s Capt. Hank Smith and Firefighter Zack Gilreath.

Chief Eulo carried an unresponsive victim out of a business fire earlier this year and saved his life.

Deputy Campbell pulled an intoxicated driver out of a burning car that he discovered in the early morning hours.

Capt. Smith and Gilreath carried an unresponsive girl out of a burning home. They were previously featured in a statewide "Close the Door" campaign.

Over 100 other first responders were also honored during this event.
