Riverbend evaluating next steps for 2020
The Riverbend Friends of the Festival board says after reviewing feedback from the community and changing market conditions, they are evaluating a number of options on the next steps for the 2020 festival.
Riverbend used to be a two-weekend festival, but in 2019, they condensed it to four nights.
They also had a new feature where attendees paid with wristbands instead of tokens like previous years.
Board Chair Jay Jolley says although they had top tier acts like Lionel Richie, Macklemore, Weezer, and Keith Urban, last year's festival did not perform as well as expected.
