At least five people were injured early Wednesday in a stabbing at a Tallahassee business.

The stabbing occurred just after 8:30 a.m. at Dyke Industries, according to the Tallahassee Police Department.

Five people were taken to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, a hospital spokesperson told NBC News, correcting information from the hospital earlier that it received six patients.

One person is in serious condition, according to the spokesperson. The other four patients are in either fair or good condition.

Authorities said a suspect has been arrested but did not provide further details.

Police said when they arrived to the scene they found "multiple stabbing victims and provided immediate medical attention."
