Man charged for Walker County shooting Sunday
UPDATE: A Lafayette man has been charged for a shooting in Walker County Sunday.
The Walker County Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old Christopher Lee Smith is charged with aggravated assault.
Officials say an argument over money involving four people led to the shooting that injured 39-year-old James Lee.
They say Lee is still recovering.
Smith remains in the Walker County Detention Facility.
PREVIOUS STORY: A Walker County man was shot in the leg around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Walker County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies say, James Lee, 39, was shot in the leg with a handgun during an argument with three other adults.
Lee was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for the wound.
This investigation is ongoing and no one has been charged.
