Owner of Eyear 1-Hour Optical, former Lookouts owner dies
Edward E. "Jim" Crittenden died Saturday at the age of 83.
Crittenden is known for opening Eyear 1 Hour Optical Inc. more than 60 years ago, which is the first 1-hour eyeglass superstore in Tennessee.
Crittenden was also known for helping to bring the Chattanooga Lookouts back to the city in the mid-’70s and for owning the team for several years.
There will be no visitation and the family will have a private service.
