Collegedale police arrested a fugitive and former Nashville singer on Tuesday who was wanted for several felony charges.

Police say James Weston Meadows, who performed under the stage name of Weston James, is accused of repeatedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home.

Police say Meadows is also accused of harassing his ex by showing up to her home, threatening her, and then leaving the scene before police could arrive.

Police say they responded to the home of Meadows’ ex on Tuesday following a call of unknown trouble.

Police found Meadows a couple of miles away from the scene, hiding under a tree in a wooded area below the victim’s home.

Meadows was arrested for aggravated stalking, two counts of aggravated burglary and theft of a handgun.
