The East Hamilton Hurricanes haven't had a winning season since 20-5. How do you change it?

They brought in a proven winner in Grant Reynolds, who make his return to the Chattanooga area to take over the Hurricanes program.

Reynolds last coached in the area at Boyd Buchanan where he guided the Bucs for 11 seasons with a trip to the state title game.

He's spent the last three years at Madison Academy in the Huntsville area, but now he's been in the 423 and poised to turn things around for the ‘Canes.

If you were at the Best of Preps Jamobree Friday night, they looked like a completely different team from a year ago.

Most notably on offense. Gone is the ground and pound of the Wing-T offense and in is the spread as East Hamilton is looking to showcase the talent they have at the skilled positions more.

They’ll open up the 2019 season on the road at Signal Mountain Friday, August 23rd at 7:30 p.m.
