UPDATE: Multiple charges for man involved in Hixson SWAT standoff
UPDATE: The suspect in the SWAT standoff last night is 43-year-old Raymond J. Rzeplinski, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office announced.
Rzeplinski has been charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Felony Reckless Endangerment Involving a Deadly Weapon, and Resisting Arrest.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says a response to a burglar alarm led to a SWAT standoff in Hixson Friday night.
It happened in the 1500 block of Crabtree Road around 5:50 p.m.
The HCSO says when deputies arrived at the scene, an unidentified man approached them, threatening "to use firearms if they came near his property." The man also made threatening comments.
Deputies called the SWAT team to the scene and the man was eventually taken into to custody around 8:15 p.m.
The man's name has not been released.
The HCSO has not said if the man will face charges.
The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when it becomes available.
