For the first time in eleven years, Bradley Central High School has a new principal.  Patrick Spangler was most recently the Business Academy principal and assistant boys’ basketball coach at the school. His father, the recently retired Ron Spangler was a longtime Bradley County principal.

Spangler succeeds Todd Shoemaker, who has accepted the position of supervisor of secondary education for Bradley County Schools.

Shoemaker replaces Danny Coggin, who retired this year. Spangler says he is excited about the school's expanding and award-winning career and technical programs, as well as its long-standing excellence in academics.  He graduated from the school in 2001.
