Marion County shooting ruled self-defense

A shooting in Marion County Saturday was ruled self-defense.
Powell Crossroads Police Chief Kenneth Seagraves told Marion County News a domestic altercation escalated late Saturday afternoon leading to the shooting.
He said the victim underwent surgery Saturday but is still in serious condition.
Seagraves went on to say after consulting with the TBI and the district attorney's office, the shooting was classified as self-defense.
The names of those involved and where the shooting took place have not been released.
