SR-156 in Marion County to close Friday for bridge paving
Starting tomorrow morning, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will close SR-156 in Marion County at the Running Water Creek Bridge for bridge paving.

A bridge paving project in Marion County near Nickajack Lake may disrupt weekend traffic.
Starting Friday at 5:30 a.m., the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will close SR-156 at the Running Water Creek Bridge for bridge paving.
The closure will continue until Saturday evening when the road will be reopened to one lane.
During the closure, drivers will be detoured via US-41, SR-27 and Exit 158 off I-24. Roadside signs will be in place to direct drivers to the proper detour routes.
