Dunlap police are warning the public of a scam where the caller claims to be with a company that is fundraising for a local school basketball team.

Police say the scammer calls using the name “Chris” and says he with a company called “All American.”

The scammer claims to be selling basketball t-shirts to raise money for the Sequatchie County High School basketball team.

Police say the scammer uses both the school name and the name of the team’s coach, Willie Young.

Police say the school and coach are not associated with any such company or fundraiser selling t-shirts.
