UPDATE: HCSO deputies find missing elderly dementia patient safe
UPDATE: A missing elderly man has been found after a search by Hamilton County Sheriff's Office deputies that began earlier today.
Family members of the Hixson man who suffers from dementia told authorities they hadn't seen him since late Friday night around 11:00 pm.
A spokesperson for the sheriff's office says 88 year-old Carmen Lynn Holloway was found in Bradley County and his family has been notified.
ORIGINAL STORY: Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing Hixson man who suffers from dementia.
HCSO spokesperson Matt Lea says 88-year-old Carmen Lynn Holloway was last seen at his home on Gold Point Circle around 11:00 p.m. Friday.
Lea says Holloway’s family reported him missing just about 12 hours later.
Holloway is six feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue/white plaid shirt, khaki pants, and white tennis shoes.
Lea says Holloway is believed to be driving a red 2010 Chevrolet Impala with TN tag 7C9-3J8.
