HCSO deputy under investigation for excessive force named in federal lawsuit in separate case
A Hamilton County Sheriff's deputy who is under investigation for use of excessive force during an arrest on July 10, was named in a federal lawsuit filed on July 9.
William Klaver claims he was a victim of corrupt and conspiratorial law enforcement.
Klaver says he was driving on Highway 27 southbound, when Deputy Wilkey pulled him over for window tint.
Klaver claims in the lawsuit that deputy wilkey assaulted him and arrested him illegally.
He says he received injuries to his hands and psychological stress.
Klaver is asking for $100-million from Deputy Wilkey, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, Hamilton County, city of Soddy Daisy, Soddy Daisy Police Department, and a K9 officer listed as “John Doe.”
