Good Wednesday.  After a whopping high of 99 degrees Tuesday, we will make to another unpleasant high of 96 today.  Because of the high humidity it will feel like about 103.  We will have a few spotty storms popping up late this afternoon into this evening.

Thursday, an approaching front will bring in widespread showers and storms during the afternoon and evening.  There is a very low risk for some storms to produce severe weather with damaging winds.  We will also be a bit cooler Thursday with the high reaching 90 degrees.

Friday, the front will be just to our south, but I still think we will have some scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially south of Chattanooga near the front.  We will only make it to 89 Friday afternoon.

For the weekend we will have highs near 90 with spotty storms both days.  Tropical development is expected in the Gulf of Mexico maybe as early as late today.  That system will likely bring flooding rains to the gulf coast from Louisiana to Texas.  This system will likely not bring us much in the way of rain, but there are a few models suggesting it will slide our way Sunday into Monday so it bears watching.
