Good Thursday, and happy 4th of July!  The heat and humidity are NOT taking the day off.  We will soar to 93 with a heat index of 100 this afternoon.  High pressure will continue to prevent widespread showers and thunderstorms, but we certainly may see one or two isolated storms popping up this afternoon into this evening.  Most folks will be shooting off the fireworks after 9 pm.  The chance of a storm is low, but one or two could still be in the area that late.

Friday we will have a muggy high of 92.  We will have a few more scattered showers and storms Friday afternoon into the evening.

Saturday and Sunday will sport about the same.  Highs will be in the low 90s, and the heat index will be about 100 both days of the weekend.  Scattered showers and storms are possible each day.

Next week will remain hot and humid all week.  The chance of rain next week will be very low.
