Good Thursday.  It is going to be a hot one today.  We will climb to 93 degrees this afternoon with heat index values in the upper 90s.  We can also expect some spotty storms popping up during the afternoon, and we will see them continuing to pop up through the evening.  The biggest threat with any storms today will be the potential for localized flooding, lightning, and damaging winds.

Friday will be similar with a high of 90 and pop up storms again through the afternoon hours.  Friday evening, however, we should be rain-free for all of your Friday night activities.

The weekend will see high pressure really asserting itself, and that will make it hard for thunderstorms to develop.  I will drop the rain chance to only 10% Saturday and Sunday.  It will be hot with the humidity climbing, though.  Afternoon highs will be in the low 90s.
