UPDATE: Severe weather causing several power outages in the Tennessee Valley
The severe weather moving across the Tennessee Valley overnight has left several people without power.
UPDATE: As of 12:30 Saturday afternoon crews continue to repair utility lines to customers across the Tennessee Valley without power.
EPB is reporting 564 customers without power. Their outage map shows the affected areas are mainly in the county.
Volunteer Electric is reporting nearly 3,500 customers without power, Rhea County being the hardest hit county for this district.
North Georgia EMC reports 1358 customers without power, and GA Power is reporting 455 customers without power.
Volunteer Energy Cooperative (VEC) is reporting 15,279 customers are without power in Bledsoe, Bradley, Hamilton, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea and several other counties as of 12:38 p.m.

As of 12:37 p.m., EPB is reporting significant outages in the Ooltewah-Collegedale, Harrison-Highway 58 and Signal Mountain areas. Moderate outages are being reported in the Hixson-Northgate and Soddy Daisy areas. Scattered outages are being reported throughout various portions of the service area.

As of 12:38 p.m., North Georgia EMC is reporting 10,342 outages in Catoosa, Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Walker and Whitfield counties.
