UPDATE: Another arrest made in June homicide
UPDATE: Police have made another arrest in a June homicide.
On Friday, police arrested Marquise Burress, 25, in connection to the shooting that killed Robert Gill on June 19, 2019.
Police said Burress was arrested on outstanding warrants for first degree murder and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
Gill was shot multiple times outside a South Street home.
In August, CPD's Gang Unit arrested Javonte Wynn, 24, and charged him with first degree murder and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
Burress will be booked into the Hamilton County Jail.
Chattanooga police have released the name of the man who was shot to death Wednesday morning on South Street.
Police say 29-year-old Robert Gill was shot multiple times, shortly after 6:00 a.m. in the 3200 block.
Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
