A former Collegedale elementary teacher is accused of sexually assaulting three boys in California, two of whom he knew from teaching in Collegedale.

According to federal court documents obtained by Channel 3, Christopher Bispham taught at A.W. Spalding Elementary School after he graduated from Southern Adventist University in 2011.

He was later fired from the school after he was charged with a DUI.

Documents show Bispham then became a teacher at Fresno Adventist Academy in California, where he is accused of sexually assaulting three students.

Two of the students went to the same school in Collegedale where Bispham taught.

He's accused of grooming the three boys and assaulting them for several years.

Bispham faces numerous charges including sexual battery and assault. He's due in California June 26th.
