Mayor, police warning of dangerous drugs following 4 overdose deaths in 24 hours
Chattanooga police say four people have died of suspected drug overdoses in the last 24 hours.
A CPD spokesperson says toxicology screens are pending but officers have determined the deaths involved the use of illicit drugs.
Police say the number of deaths in such a short period is indicative of extremely dangerous drugs being sold and used.
Police are urging the public to be mindful of this warning if you or someone you know uses drugs.
Police ask anyone who witnesses an overdose to call 911 and stay with that person until EMS or police arrive.
