UPDATE: I-24 WB re-opened after jack-knifed tractor-trailer blocked lanes at split
UPDATE: One lane of traffic has been opened after a morning crash closed the ramp from I-75 Northbound to I-24 Westbound.
The semi, which jack-knifed under the same bridge that partially collapsed in April, 2019.
A fuel leak added to the complexity of the crash cleanup.
PREVIOUS STORY: A jack-knifed tractor-trailer on Interstate 75 North at the I-24 west split has backed up traffic all the way to Cloud Springs Road in Catoosa County, Georgia.
The call came in around 9:49 Friday morning.
No injuries have been reported, but there is a fuel spill that crews are working to clear up.
The roadway is expected to be cleared by 11:00 a.m. according to TDOT.
