UPDATE: 'Wear Orange' is a national campaign that honors those who lost their lives to gun violence.

Last year in Chattanooga the highest group of murder victims were between the ages of 18 and 24.

While murders in Chattanooga are down according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the need for gun violence awareness is still high.

Every year, people impacted by this senseless violence come together to share their stories.

Wear Orange 2019 is Saturday, June 8th.

Due to the weather the location is changed from Orchard Knob Middle School to the Downtown Family YMCA on W. 6th St.  in Chattanooga, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
