Chattanooga firefighters battle blaze in 90-degree heat
Battling 90-degree heat, Chattanooga firefighters fought a blaze that left two people displaced Tuesday morning.
Fire crews were called to 2125 28th Street in East Lake just before 11:30. When firefighters arrived smoke was coming from the attic.
The fire was quickly put out, but the house received water and smoke damage.
Firefighters rescued the family dog.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
No injuries were reported and the cause is still under investigation.
