UPDATE: Chattanooga police say both of the teenagers wanted for a carjacking on Dorsey Street have been arrested.

A CPD spokesperson says the 16-year-old suspect has been arrested. The 17-year-old suspect that was on the run was captured Thursday.

Police say the teens severely injured a man during a carjacking on Dorsey Street in April.

Both teens are wanted for attempted murder and especially aggravated robbery.

Both of the teen suspects are being held at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.

PREVIOUS STORY: Chattanooga police need your help identifying two teenagers, accused of severely hurting a man during a carjacking last month.

Police say a 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy stole a man’s car in the 5300 block of Dorsey Street on the night of April 23.

The victim tried to get his car back but police say the teens sped away, dragging the victim down the street and eventually running over him.

The victim received several serious injuries, including a mutilated foot, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police say both teens are wanted for attempted murder and especially aggravated robbery.

While Tennessee law does not prohibit releasing the names of juveniles who are charged with attempted murder or especially aggravated robbery, both teens have not been charged as adults and their names are not being released at this time.
