If you are heading out this Saturday afternoon or evening, expect temperatures to remain in the upper 80s through about 7:00PM EDT with a partly cloudy sky. Temperatures will likely not drop into the 70s until after sunset at 8:40PM EDT. There will also be a few small pop-up showers/storms this afternoon and evening. Most people will stay dry, but if you do hear thunder or see lightning, remember to head indoors.

Overnight, it will be mostly clear with calm wind and lows in the mid-60s.

Sunday will be warm again with highs around 88 degrees. The day will start sunny with clouds increasing in the afternoon. It will also be breezy with wind from the south at 10-15mph and gusts at 20-25mph.

An approaching cold front will cause showers and storms to develop Sunday night into Monday. The system will be weakening as it nears our area, so the showers/storms will be scattered and rainfall light around 0.1-0.3".

After the front passes on Monday, cloud cover will be decreasing for a partly sunny late afternoon and highs in the mid-80s. This will be the coolest day of the week ahead.

The heat and humidity will really start to build up for the rest of the week. Tuesday will have highs in the upper 80s to 90, and then each day after is expecting high temperatures in the 90s with a mostly sunny sky. There will be isolated chances (10%) for pop-up showers/storms, most likely occurring in the higher elevations. As of now, the hottest days will be Thursday and Friday with highs around 92.
