Warmer Wednesday with slight afternoon shower chance
Today's temperatures will be warmer with highs in the mid-70s but still below normal for this time of year. The day will start sunny with a few areas of patchy fog in the morning. For the afternoon, cloud cover will increase to mostly cloudy, and there will be a slight chance for a few light showers from about 1PM to 5PM. The rain chances will be better for areas in Chattanooga and west. Total rainfall should only be a trace to 0.1".
Overnight, a few spotty showers will remain through about 6AM with a partly cloudy sky and lows in the mid to upper 50s.
For Thursday, temperatures will climb up to the low 80s with a partly cloudy sky. Friday will be partly cloudy again, but warmer with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
The weekend will be warm with highs on both Saturday and Sunday in the upper 80s. Plus, it will also be more humid with a low isolated chance for a shower. Saturday will be partly cloudy, and then Sunday will have more clouds, becoming partly sunny.
Monday will likely be our best rain chance for the week ahead with highs in the mid-80s and a mostly cloudy sky. Then, Tuesday will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid-80s.
