Good Morning Tennessee Valley,

Patchy fog will be developing this morning. If you're lucky, you'll be one of the few to see the Eta Aquarids meteor shower peaking this morning. This event will continue through May 28th, but the best time is now, as the moon is only 1% full.

After a warm and humid weekend, dry air is working its way in. Dew points have dropped to the 50s, making it feel very pleasant starting off the work week. It will be a warm afternoon though, as temperatures reach the low 80s. Normal high for May 6th is 78.

We'll continue to be rain free through Tuesday. Wednesday will bring an isolated rain chance late day, while the best chance for rain and thunderstorms over the next 7 days look to be Thursday.  A preliminary look to the upcoming weekend indicates a storm chance both days.
