Tennessee Governor Bill Lee delivered the commencement speech at Bryan College Saturday.

More than 130 graduates walked across the stage.

The ceremony took place on the Triangle Lawn at the Dayton campus.

Governor Lee talked about many topics in his speech, but one of the things he stressed to the students the most was the importance of serving others.

"You can't control a lot of the things that will happen, the circumstances that will come at you, good and bad," Gov. Lee told the graduates. "And if we will commit ourselves to serving because at the end of the day, that's what He's called us to do is to serve. If we can commit ourselves to serving then He will take all of those experiences and use them to bless us and to bless others."

Governor Lee says this is the first commencement speech he has made since becoming governor.
