Sunshine increases as clouds continue to break and erode from west to east this afternoon. A Wind Advisory continues for north Georgia and Alabama counties, southeast Monroe and Blount counties, and Franklin county TN. Sustained winds of 15-25 mph with winds gusting 35-45 mph is possible in these locations. Trash cans may be displaced, and patio furniture may be knocked around in these locations today. Look for winds gusting in Chattanooga from 25-35 mph.

Today's highs will be slightly below normal in the mid to low 70s. It will be a nice evening to head to the Lookouts game. There will be a slight breeze ongoing and it will be cool in the upper 60s by first pitch. Bring a jacket and or a sweater to the game. I'm seeing a temperature of 60 by final out tonight under a mostly clear sky. Overnight lows will drop to the upper 40s, making it a chilly start for walks/runs early on Saturday morning and for the start of festivities at the National Cornbread Festival.

Look for partly cloudy skies both days Saturday and Sunday. There will be a small rain chance on Saturday from 4PM-9PM, mainly from Chattanooga and north. Very light rain under 0.05" is possible. As this next front continues to track south, a few sprinkles will be possible early on Sunday morning across our counties in Georgia and Alabama. Overall, it looks to be a fabulous weekend with lighter winds with temperatures staying in the 70s both days. This weekend is also the last weekend to burn, as the season ends on April 30.
