It will be the third consecutive day in a row, where afternoon temperatures will hit 80, making it feel more like late May. We'll continue to have a southwest wind of 5-10 mph today. Expect more clouds by evening. There is only a 10% chance for mainly sprinkles this evening from 3PM-7PM. Most will be completely dry this evening. Tonight, look for similar lows in the upper 50s.

Thursday will bring more clouds, and a slight rain chance in the morning. We'll need to watch for a few showers by tomorrow evening's commute, mainly for Jackson AL, and Dekalb AL. The better rain chance increases from 9PM Thursday night through 3AM Friday morning. There will be a second round moving in after 6AM through 11AM Friday. Thunderstorms will be possible during this period, bringing rainfall amounts of 0.50" to 1". Where we get under a few thunderstorms, amounts of 1" to 1.5" will be possible. I don't see flash flooding as a concern, but our streams and creeks will be rising on Friday.

The weekend brings temperatures in the mid to upper 70s both days, with only a 10% chance for showers. While temperatures on Sunday night drop to the mid-40s, I don't see a frost potential the rest of the spring season. Therefore, it's safe to plant summer veggies!
