Cool Saturday with light showers
Today will be cloudy, chilly, and breezy. Our daytime high temperatures will be around 50, which is our normal low temperature for this time of year.
We will have scattered light showers this morning and into the afternoon.
For the higher elevations along the Cumberland Plateau and eastern mountains, you may have a few snow flurries or wintry mix precipitation, but no accumulation is expected.
Showers will become more isolated for the evening with better chances for the higher elevations.
Total new rainfall at about a tenth of an inch. Wind will be from the west at 10-15mph.
Tonight clouds will be clearing, and it will be another cold start to the day on Sunday with lows in the upper 30s to 40.
For Easter sunrise services, you will want to bundle up.
Temperatures will be warming up nicely with highs around 73, so afternoon Easter festivities will be pleasant. Sunday will be mostly sunny.
For the start of the work week, Monday will be mostly sunny with highs near 80. Tuesday will have a few more clouds, but still plenty of sunshine with warm temperatures in the low 80s.
Wednesday will see cloud cover increase again to partly sunny with highs in the low 80s.
Thursday brings a return to some scattered showers with a mostly cloudy sky and highs in the upper 70s.
The scattered showers continue on Friday with highs in the mid-70s.
