It will be a nice day with temperatures getting close to 80 again. More clouds will keep temperatures mild this evening and overnight. For the Lookouts game, it looks mostly cloudy with a south wind of 10 mph and a temperature near 78 for the first pitch.

Thursday will bring more clouds and a breeze. Winds will be gusting tomorrow from the south up to 20 mph during the day. A strong cold front arrives on Friday morning. This will bring a threat for strong to severe thunderstorms Thursday night through Friday. Newest data suggests 9PM Thursday through 4AM Friday. Storms Thursday evening move in near Dekalb and Jackson counties by 9PM-11PM, and in Chattanooga between 11PM and 1AM. There is a Slight Risk for severe weather during this time frame for Chattanooga and west. The biggest threat with storms will be damaging straight line winds. As the line tracks east of the city, due to less instability and wind shear, the threat is Marginal at this time, so perhaps an isolated strong to severe thunderstorm will be possible for those east of I-75 through 4AM.

We'll be left with MUCH cooler temperatures during the day Friday. We should actually see our high temperature Friday early in the morning, with falling afternoon temperatures, staying in the mid to upper 50s-about 15 degrees below normal. There will be isolated showers likely ongoing on Friday morning. At this time, I do see rain showers for Friday evening for the Lookouts game. Rain showers will be possible through Saturday morning for those in Tennessee. Georgia and Alabama counties may see showers end before daybreak Saturday morning, as this low lifts north and east during the day.

Easter Sunday looks chilly in the morning (low 40s), but very nice in the mid 70s by afternoon with plenty of sun.
